Age 85, passed away Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with family by his side.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Isabel (nee Diaz) Rodriguez, children Joseph (Barbara) Rodriguez, Lisa McCorkhill, grandchildren Nicholas( Angela), Stephanie (Cale) , Matthew Rodriguez, Dylan , and Noah McCorkhill, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Julia (Leonel) Garza, numerous nieces , nephews and cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents Gumecindo and Martina (Nee Gonzales) Rodriguez, a son Marc Rodriguez, and several brothers and sisters.

He spent 41 years working at the Caterpillar Tractor Company in Joliet, and proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1951 – 1955. Jesse was an awesome handyman that could fix anything.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Mt Carmel Catholic Church at 10 am. Internment Woodlawn Memorial Park I. Visitation will be at the Woodlawn Funeral Home 3201 W Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL TUESDAY JUNE 7, 2016, 4-8 pm.
In Lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
