Age 92, passed away Thursday July 6, 2017 at her residence in Joliet.

Margaret is survived by her children; Brad (Dawn) Leahy, Jill Leahy, Mark Leahy, Donald Leahy. He beloved grandchildren Erin Heitsch, Shane Swanson, Jake Swanson, Ryan (Katie) Leahy, Samantha (Chris Jaszczolt) Leahy, Sally Margaret Leahy, Ann Leslie (Jeff) Brown, and a great-grandaughter Katelyn Leslie Jaszczolt.

Preceded in death by her late husband Robert Leslie Leahy and her parents Delbert and Mary Rench.

Margaret was born in Canton, Illinois. She was a die hard Chicago sports fan, with a highlight of her life was a dance with the Late Walter Payton. She retired after 30 years of service with the Fannie May Candy Company. Was a founding member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Joliet.

A funeral service will be held at the WOODLAWN MEMORIAL PARK I 23060 w Jefferson Street in Joliet Monday July 10, 2017, 10:00 am.. Pastor Loy Schlote officiating. NO SERVICES AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
