Sarah Costa
Sarah (Lavino) Costa, 99, went to her heavenly home on Friday, November 3, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Sarah is survived by her daughter Lenore (Costa) (Larry) Evans; Grandchildren Matthew (Tabitha) Evans and Michelle (Dominic) Santoro as well as 5 Great Grandchildren; Dylan, Oliver and Audrey Evans, and Ella and Luci Santoro.
She is also survived by her step daughter Carol (Costa) (Ron) Aeschliman, grandchildren Mary Lynn Coldwater, William Aeschliman, Todd (Kristi) Aeschliman, and numerous great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Jasper (Nibbs) Costa, parents Frank and Carmela Tabone, and brothers Rev. Jack Lavino and Joseph Tabone.
Sarah was born October 13, 1918 in Joliet, Illinois. In 2000 she moved with her family to Phoenix, Arizona where she enjoyed many warm sunny days. She was a faithful servant to her Lord and prayer warrior for her family. She always had a positive outlook and kind heart and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Visitation and service was held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Ahwatukee Assembly of God, Phoenix, Arizona.
Her burial service will be held at 10:30A.M., Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Joliet, Illinois.
